THE FANTASTIC HOUSEBOAT

Try to imagine a floating house with the engine sailing in the middle of the lake and you looking at the pristine nature of the Thai jungle while having breakfast in the early morning. Then imagine getting on a smaller boat and fishing until lunchtime and returning to the houseboat where someone has already cooked for you and where you can rest easy while you wait to get back fishing in the afternoon.
Then in the evening dinner is ready again and maybe a couple of beers chatting with the other fishermen before sleeping and being ready for the following day. No phone, no internet.
Here... this is our houseboat experience.

A VILLAGE NAMED PANA'

There is a place in the far north of the Srinakharin reservoir that can only be reached by water. no roads, no phone signals and where the houses float on the water.
The fishermen of the lake live in these houses, those who fish and sell fish at the market for a living. Inside this village there is a small, very spartan guest house, where you sleep on the floor on mattresses and where you need to have a bowl and use the water from the lake to take a shower. There is also a very small shop with a few items but where necessary it is always there. From this village we set off in search of the real giants.
This is the place where you can immerse yourself in nature and focus on fishing like in few other places in the world.
On the other hand, the Temple with the Steel Buddha is not far away and if you stop talking you can only hear nature singing.
